Senate LHHS Subcommittee Summary

The Senate Labor Health and Human Services Appropriations Subcommittee has approved its FY 2011 mark (read Summary). The Subcommittee exceeded President Obama's Head Start and Child Care requests, preserving the ARRA investment with an increase of $990.3 million for Head Start and $1 billion for CCDBG. It also added $300 million for the Early Learning Challenge Fund (ELCF).
